As an Employment Specialist, you will provide vocational rehabilitation services to the adult population of Terros Health's Desert Cove Recovery Health Center. Your responsibilities include coordinating community and clinic‑based employment related services, interacting with community businesses to develop individual job opportunities for behavioral health recipients, and providing employment support services to assist them in obtaining and maintaining stable employment.

• Conduct assessments with behavioral health recipients to evaluate their presenting problems and determine employment‑related service plan goals.
• Evaluate and update employment‑related service plans as appropriate.
• Work directly with recipients to obtain and maintain community employment, monitoring progress, evaluating outcomes, and documenting results.
• Provide employment support services in accordance with contractual guidelines and educate recipients regarding entitlement programs.
• Deliver individual and group skill development and training to enhance independent living and community integration, including resume writing, interview skills, job search strategies, personal hygiene, problem solving, public transportation training, and personal finance management.
• Seek employment opportunities by developing relationships with community employers to identify placements that meet the needs of recipients currently in services.

• High School Diploma/GED and at least three years of relevant vocational rehabilitation experience in a behavioral health setting; OR
• Associate’s degree in a behavioral health field with one year of relevant vocational rehabilitation experience; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field with one year of relevant vocational rehabilitation experience; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in a non‑behavioral health field with one year of relevant vocational rehabilitation experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Background check clearance.
• Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Pass DCS Central Registry check without disqualifying events.
• Current Arizona driver’s license and a satisfactory 39‑month Motor Vehicle Record.
• Pass a TB test.
