Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with Electrophysiology (EP) and Radio frequency (RF) Ablation experience for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a highly skilled cardiovascular professional who can independently perform imaging, scrubbing, and procedural support in a fast‑paced cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiovascular imaging, invasive cardiac procedures, EP studies, device implantation, and radiation safety practices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform imaging and technical support during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Scrub and assist with arterial and venous cardiovascular procedures.
- Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and imaging equipment.
- Monitor radiation exposure and ensure adherence to radiation safety standards.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment within the department.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and procedural records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist Program.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Active certification in one of the following:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist)
- State licensure and fluoroscopy permits as required by applicable regulations.
- Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology procedures.
- Advanced EP Lab experience.
- Experience with RF Ablation procedures.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission and regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong inventory management and operational support skills.
