Job Details: UCP of Central Arizona is seeking pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide speech therapy services at our clinic. The role includes working with a team of clinicians in a mission‑driven company that supports children with a range of developmental needs.
Responsibilities- Treat children with cerebral palsy as well as autism, sensory processing disorder, genetic disorders, in‑utero substance exposure, pediatric feeding disorders, developmental delays, and other diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, receptive language disorders, resonance disorders and other diagnosis‑specific speech disorders.
- Evaluate language development, determine appropriate treatment goals, and adjust plans quarterly.
- Coordinate with the team to obtain barium swallow and hearing test results and any required medical documentation for comprehensive assessment.
- Maintain detailed documentation for billing, insurance, evaluations, progress, treatment, and discharge.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and develop personalized home activities to empower families.
- Refer families to additional educational or medical services as needed.
- Current state speech‑language pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech‑language pathology.
- Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Master’s degree in speech‑language pathology.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
