Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. This PRN position is located in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities- Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure.
- Assist with Vistation in the evenings.
- Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and document any changes in a patient’s appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
- Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient.
- Comply with the established policies and procedures requiring a safe, clean and therapeutic environment.
- Experience working in a behavioral health care setting with adolescents.
- High School Diploma or GED and a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Successful completion of SAMA, including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment.
- Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
