Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Problem Resolution Specialist to join our team at in  
** Phoenix, AZ** .

* Work Schedule:

** Monday
- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

* Job Responsibilities:

*
* + Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.

+ Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications

+ Communicates with customers in respectful and professional manner.

+ Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.

+ Provide customer education and information as needed.

+ Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.

+ Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.

+ Accurately identify and label specimens.

+ Pack and ship specimens as necessary.

+ Prepare and store excess specimen samples.

** Minimum Qualification*
* + High School Diploma or GED equivalent

** Preferred*

* Qualification:

*
* + Current or prior Labcorp experience

+ Associates degree

+ 2 years or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office,clinic or hospital

+ 2 yearsor more ofexperiencein customer service

** Additional Job Standards*
* + Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

+ Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures

+ Comfortable handling biological specimens

+ Ability to accurately identify specimens

+ Experience working in a team environment

+ Strong data entry and organizational skills

+ High level of attention to detail

+ Well-versed in applications like Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and willingness to learn new applications

+ Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

+ Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
