Role Description The Child Therapist will provide individual and family therapy to children and adolescents in an on-site setting located in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s needs. The therapist will collaborate with caregivers, schools, and other providers as appropriate, maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation, and participate in case consultations and team meetings.

Bilingual skills (English/Spanish preferred) will be used to serve a diverse client base and enhance access to care.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in child and adolescent therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to build rapport with children, caregivers, and families, and to communicate clearly and empathetically.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, with cultural humility and experience working with diverse communities.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing caseloads, documentation, and scheduling.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with appropriate state licensure or eligibility in Arizona (e.g., LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT).
  • Experience providing on-site clinical services in outpatient or community mental health settings is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, play therapy, and family systems approaches is a plus.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
