Patient Appointment Services Specialist - Hematology​/Oncology

Mayo Clinic -  - Responsibilities:
Independently create and schedule appointments within the electronic medical record for a complex multispecialty medical practice;
Gather patient demographic and provider information to determine appropriate appointment area;
Advise patients regarding co-pays, referral authorizations, and/or pre-service deposits to ensure timely arrival;
Collect guarantor and insurance details to assess patient eligibility;
Navigate multiple systems and manage high volumes of calls, online requests, and fax requests
