Job Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
- 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.
- Experience with pediatrics to geriatrics patients.
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or training program from an accredited agency is required.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work in fast-paced/high-volume environments.
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment under minimal supervision.
- Float Differential:
Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. - Phlebotomy Incentive Plan:
Quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. - Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan. - Employees scheduled less than 20 hours: 401(k) Plan only.
- Employees with 7 on/7 off schedule:
All benefits except PTO/FTO.
