Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Experience with pediatrics to geriatrics patients.

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or training program from an accredited agency is required.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work in fast-paced/high-volume environments.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment under minimal supervision.

• Float Differential:
  Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
• Phlebotomy Incentive Plan:
  Quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
• Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week:
  Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees scheduled less than 20 hours: 401(k) Plan only.
• Employees with 7 on/7 off schedule:
  All benefits except PTO/FTO.
