A Neurophysiology Technologist is responsible for providing accurate, high-quality Neurodiagnostic testing. For this EEG-focused position, primary responsibilities include routine and extended EEG testing and support of inpatient and/or long-term EEG monitoring. Responsibilities may include electrode application and maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, recognition and escalation of significant clinical or electrographic events, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and other members of the care team.
The incumbent must meet competency requirements appropriate to the assigned area of practice. Depending on departmental needs and the technologist's training and competencies, Neurodiagnostic services may include Electroencephalography (EEG), EMG including Nerve Conduction Studies, Evoked Potentials/QST, Autonomic studies, or IOM.
This position may be required to provide coverage at either Mayo Clinic in Arizona Phoenix or Scottsdale locations and may participate in the EEG call rotation.

Final job level will be determined based on the selected candidate's education, experience, credentials, and demonstrated competencies.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and completion of Mayo Clinic’s Neurotech Trainee program;
Or, Formal NDT education and a minimum of one (1) year of Neurodiagnostics experience, which includes previous clinical experience while attending a CAAHEP accredited NDT program or formal NDT education program;
Or, Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited NDT program, and a minimum of one (1) year of
Neurodiagnostics experience, which may include previous clinical experience while attending a CAAHEP accredited NDT program or formal NTD education program;
Or, Associate’s degree in Neurodiagnostics from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one (1) year of Neurodiagnostics experience.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Completion of formal NDT education from an educational institution in coordination with a hospital and three (3) years of Neurodiagnostics experience, which includes previous clinical experience while attending a CAAHEP accredited NDT program or formal NTD education program;
Or, Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited NDT program and three (3) years of Neurodiagnostics experience, which includes previous clinical experience while attending a CAAHEP accredited NDT program or formal NTD education program; OR, Associate’s degree in Neurodiagnostics from an accredited college or university with three (3) years of experience in Neurodiagnostics, which includes previous clinical experience while attending…
