Job Title
Responsible for supporting the Mind Crowd Memory Test and serving as a backup for the Mobile Lab research project. Support primarily includes:
- Establish organized study files, including but not limited to, regulatory binders, study specific source documentation and other materials as required.
- Maintain subject enrollment, screening, and protocol deviation logs.
- Maintain spreadsheet tracking updates to database of all subjects enrolled in research studies
- Study kit building and shipping
- Answer study participant emails and phone calls
- Assist with scheduling participants
Back up for the Mobile Lab may perform this function up to 25% of the time. The Mobile Lab sub-study is a horse-trailer-based wet lab designed to conduct research throughout Rural Arizona. Supporting this project involves traveling to various sites throughout the state to work with participants through a number of activities. The clinical research assistant will travel, set up and conduct research tasks as outlined in the protocol.
Requirements:
- BA/BS or Associates degree with medical experience
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Must be able and willing to work a highly variable schedule that includes early start times, late end times, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the study
- Willing to travel up to 25%
- A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. Experience driving larger vehicles preferred.
- Must be able to operate and drive a TGen owned vehicle and trailer ("mobile lab") to various locations within the State of Arizona in order to perform patient studies as a backup when needed
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to deal effectively and confidentially with difficult situations and excellent communication skills.
- Requires excellent time management skills.
