USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Tech Full Time!

As a Patient Care Tech, you will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, and maintain a safe and clean environment under RN supervision.

• Help surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs under RN direction.
• Assist with duties as needed by Manager of Pre‑Op/PACU.
• Perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols.
• Perform routine invasive procedures such as venipuncture and EKG.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Adapt quickly to change and support surgical patient management.
• Apply aseptic technique principles.

• High School Graduate/GED.
• Previous CNA experience.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Safe operation of wheelchair and ability to assist patients.
• Ability to take vital signs, provide personal care and ambulate patients.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organizational habits.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physical demands include walking and standing, opening doors, carrying packages, helping patients enter a vehicle.
