Clinical Research Coordinator
This role offers an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to support clinical trials at a dedicated research site in Phoenix, AZ. The coordinator will perform hands-on clinical and administrative tasks, including phlebotomy, chart review, and patient pre-screening, while contributing to high-quality clinical research across various therapeutic areas, including oncology.
Responsibilities- Perform chart reviews to identify and evaluate potential participants for clinical trials.
- Conduct pre-screening of patients to assess eligibility based on study protocols and inclusion/exclusion criteria.
- Support clinical research activities for multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology studies.
- Coordinate day-to-day clinical trial operations in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with patient recruitment by identifying, contacting, and engaging potential participants.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures, including drawing blood samples safely and accurately for study-related testing.
- Collaborate with investigators and clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation and data collection for each study.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date research records, charts, and study documentation.
- Communicate clearly with patients about study procedures, visit schedules, and follow-up requirements.
- Help ensure participant safety and adherence to study protocols throughout the duration of each trial.
- 2–3 years of experience working as a Clinical Research Coordinator or in a closely related clinical research role.
- Demonstrated phlebotomy experience with the ability to perform blood draws safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in chart review for identifying eligible patients and extracting relevant clinical information.
- Experience with pre-screening patients for clinical trial eligibility.
- Hands-on experience in clinical research and clinical trial operations.
- Experience supporting oncology clinical trials or working with oncology patient populations.
- Proven ability to recruit and engage patients for participation in clinical studies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data handling.
- Ability to follow study protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, investigators, and clinical staff.
Skills & Qualifications
- Certification or training as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable.
- Certification as a Phlebotomist is highly desirable.
- Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas in clinical research.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and studies in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain thorough and accurate records.
- Comfort working directly with patients in a clinical research setting.
This position is fully on site at a dedicated clinical research facility in Phoenix, AZ. The coordinator will work in a professional medical and research environment equipped for clinical trials, including phlebotomy and patient visits. The role involves regular interaction with patients, investigators, and clinical staff in a structured, protocol-driven setting. The facility is designed to support high-quality clinical research, with designated areas for patient assessments, sample collection, and documentation.
JobType & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $68000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
