Genetics​/Genomics Technologist

Sonora Quest Laboratories seeks a Genetics/Genomics Technologist I to support high-quality genetic testing in a technology-driven lab environment. You will prepare and analyze biological samples, operate advanced sequencing platforms and supporting software, and ensure accurate, timely test results. Working closely with senior technologists and IT specialists, you'll troubleshoot workflows, maintain rigorous data integrity, and follow regulatory and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Perform genetic and genomic testing using advanced laboratory and software tools
• Prepare, process, and analyze biological samples following strict quality protocols
• Operate and maintain sequencing and diagnostic platforms and related IT systems
• Validate, document, and interpret test results under senior technologist supervision
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT and lab teams to troubleshoot workflows
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Document procedures, maintain detailed records, and support report generation
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
