Sonora Quest Laboratories seeks an Anatomic Pathology Lab Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic testing supporting advanced healthcare and data-driven insights. In this role, you will process tissue and cellular specimens, operate and maintain sophisticated lab instruments and software, and ensure accurate, timely results for clinicians and patients. Working within a collaborative, innovation-focused culture, you will contribute to quality improvement, leverage technology to enhance efficiency, and grow your skills through exposure to complex cases and cutting-edge laboratory systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform and validate anatomic pathology tests on tissue and cellular specimens
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab instruments and software systems
- Prepare, embed, section, and stain specimens following strict protocols
- Ensure quality control, documentation, and regulatory compliance (CLIA/CAP)
- Collaborate with pathologists and technical staff to support accurate diagnoses
- Manage and analyze digital lab data within LIS and related IT tools
- Troubleshoot technical issues with instruments and laboratory software
- Maintain safe lab practices including proper handling of biohazardous materials
- Contribute to process improvements and workflow optimization
- Train or mentor junior staff on lab procedures and systems

- Special stains and immunohistochemistry (IHC)
