Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Services Lead to join our team as we redefine patient care-one meal at a time! As the Patient Services Lead, you'll inspire and guide a frontline team to deliver meals that nourish, comfort, and support healing. You'll play a key role in creating a positive, patient-centered experience where every tray reflects care, compassion, and excellence.

- Oversee, lead,and coordinate patient food service operations, including meal assembly, tray delivery, and patient meal selections, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to dietary guidelines.
- Lead a team of patient services staff, providing training, coaching, and support to ensure high standards of customer service, food safety, and sanitation.
- Coordinate with the culinary team for special dietary requests and accommodations for patients with allergies, intolerances, or cultural preferences, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and safety protocols.
- Maintainaccuraterecords and documentation related to patient meal orders, dietary preferences, and food allergies, using electronic medical records systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, infection control protocols, and hospital policies and procedures, conducting regular audits and inspections of food service areas.
- Other duties as assigned
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service operations, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic diets, nutrition principles, and patient service protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team coordination, training, and support in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with electronic meal systems, EMR software, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must pass health screenings (e.g., TB test), background check, and drug screening.
- Serv Safe® Certification and valid Food Handler Card (county-specific).
- This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
