Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Private Outpatient Clinic

Phoenix, Arizona

Setting: Private Outpatient Orthopedics
Profession: Physical Therapist (PT)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time
Care Model: 1:1 Patient Care

Outpatient PT Opportunity – Phoenix, AZ

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with a private outpatient clinic in Phoenix, Arizona
.

One of the biggest selling points of this opportunity is the clinic's 1:1 patient-care model
. Rather than routinely juggling multiple patients at the same time, you'll have the opportunity to focus directly on the patient you're treating and provide more individualized care.

For a PT who enjoys outpatient orthopedics but doesn't want the high-volume environment found in some larger clinics, this is a particularly attractive opportunity.

Position Highlights
  • Private outpatient clinic
  • 1:1 patient-care model
  • 13-week travel assignment
  • Full-time schedule
  • Primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal caseload
  • Individualized treatment approach
  • More direct therapist-to-patient interaction
  • Opportunity to focus on quality of care rather than high-volume scheduling
  • Phoenix metro location
Why the 1:1 Care Model Matters

This is what I'd really sell about this position.

A 1:1 treatment model allows the therapist to spend dedicated time with each patient rather than moving back and forth between multiple patients or relying heavily on support staff.

That can mean:

  • More individualized treatment sessions
  • More time for hands‑on treatment and patient education
  • Better opportunity to assess progress and modify treatment
  • Stronger therapist‑patient relationships
  • Less of the "patient mill" feel associated with some high‑volume outpatient clinics
  • A more clinically focused outpatient experience

For a traveler who loves outpatient therapy but is concerned about productivity expectations or treating multiple patients simultaneously,
this is a major selling point
.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Arizona PT license or Compact privilege
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills
  • Strong patient communication and education skills
  • Interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
  • Previous outpatient experience preferred
What You'll Do

You'll evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post‑operative, and functional conditions. Treatment may include therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual interventions as appropriate, patient education, and individualized home exercise programs.

You'll monitor progress, modify treatment plans based on patient response, and work directly with each patient in the clinic's 1:1 care environment
.

Why Phoenix, AZ?

Phoenix is an excellent location for a travel assignment, especially heading into the fall and winter months.

, giving you a huge selection of housing, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, professional sports, and nightlife.

For outdoor recreation, you're surrounded by desert hiking, mountains, golf, and some incredible weekend-trip options. Sedona is roughly two hours away, while Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon are also within reach for longer weekends.
