Assistant Clinical Director; BCBA)

About the Opportunity

School House Staffing is recruiting an Assistant Clinical Director (BCBA) for a growing behavioral health organization in Phoenix, Arizona.

This is a leadership role with a strong clinical core.

As Assistant Clinical Director, you will maintain an active client caseload while helping support the clinical operations of a center-based ABA program. You will mentor and supervise behavior technicians, collaborate with senior clinical leadership, support treatment quality, and help shape the day-to-day culture of care within the center.

• Maintain an active center-based client caseload.
• Conduct and oversee clinical assessments, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland, or equivalent assessments.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and use data to guide clinical decision-making.
• Conduct parent and caregiver training.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Supervise, mentor, and support RBTs and Behavior Technicians.
• Conduct competency assessments and provide ongoing clinical feedback.
• Help develop the clinical skills and professional growth of team members.
• Promote consistent implementation of treatment plans and clinical standards.
• Support a collaborative, ethical, and client-centered clinical culture.

• Support center scheduling and day-to-day clinical operations.
• Help maintain clinical documentation and data integrity.
• Collaborate with senior clinical leadership on quality initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen clinical processes and client outcomes.
• Help ensure consistent standards of care across the center.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Active BCBA or BCBA-D certification.
• Arizona Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential or eligibility to obtain it.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-certification BCBA experience in a center or clinical setting.
• Experience supervising RBTs and conducting competency assessments.
• Strong behavioral assessment skills, including experience with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland, or equivalent tools.
• Ability to successfully complete required state and federal background checks.
