The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

About the Position

Are you committed to serving your community? As a Communicable Disease Investigator, you will play an important role in our efforts to reduce the rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in Maricopa County! We will count on you to conduct case investigations, including identifying and interviewing contacts and providing testing recommendations and education to clients, medical providers, the community, and staff.

Requirements

We Require Two years of experience conducting health field investigations, community outreach, and/or case management

Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Medical Technology, Health Sciences, or a health-related field

A combination of post‑secondary education and job‑related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year‑for‑year basis

  • We Also Value Experience working as a Communicable Disease Investigator for a local public health department or state health services agency
