When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel — like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage — it’s critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ‘ohana, or ‘family.’ When opening the first Andaz property in Hawaii, our team participated in Hawaiian culture training to help us understand what ‘ohana truly means.
This is a commissions only, part-time position.
Role & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Massage Therapist fosters an atmosphere of calm and relaxation, responsible for the delivery of exceptional massage and body treatment services. Must have valid State of Arizona Massage Therapy license. This role exudes the following qualities ; confident technical provider, time management awareness, team player, tidiness, and desire to promote wellbeing. Guest’s privacy and discretion are of importance within this position.
Qualifications- Must have valid State of Arizona Massage Therapy license
- Must have a minimum of two years massage/body treatment experience in an upscale spa
- Refined communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Organizational/ Multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
Ability to push, pull, lift, carry moderate weight, as well as go up and down stairs
