Our assisted living community is seeking an Activities Assistant to support resident engagement and enrichment. The role collaborates with the Activities Director and contributes to a dynamic activity calendar that serves all care levels.

• Participate in the creation of a multi‑faceted daily/monthly activity calendar suitable for all care levels.
• Assist the Activities Director in leading activities and encouraging resident participation.
• Maintain and update resident sign‑up sheets, post daily calendars, and order supplies.
• Support residents who lead activities, fostering a sense of pride and leadership.
• Transport residents to functions using company vehicles when required.
• Encourage and motivate residents to engage in community projects and local events.

• Energetic, personable, and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
• Creative and imaginative in developing engaging activities.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities.
• Empathetic listener capable of motivating and positively influencing residents.
• Knowledge of the physical and emotional aspects of aging.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and residents.
