The Outreach and Enrollment (OE) Program Coordinator directs and manages NATIVE HEALTH’s Connecting Kids to Coverage (CKC) Outreach and Enrollment program and the SNAP CMS program. The position oversees a team of Outreach & Enrollment Specialists (OES) across all NATIVE HEALTH locations; ensures program, grant, budget, and reporting requirements are met; and serves as the primary liaison to the funder, community partners, and stakeholders.
The coordinator is also a visible community advocate for access to enrollment assistance and education. The Outreach and Enrollment Program Coordinator reports to the Health Services Director.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Program Leadership and Operation: Provides direction and oversight of the planning and operation of the Connecting Kids to Coverage (CKC) Outreach and Enrollment in alignment with NATIVE HEALTH’s mission, values and strategic plan.
Measure of Success:
- Ensures cooperative agreement goals, objectives, activities, and evaluation requirements are met.
- Coordinates outreach and enrollment services with other NATIVE HEALTH programs and external partners, including schools, school districts, and public and private organizations
- Ensures clients and patients have optimal access to enrollment assistance and education.
- Coordinates a community advisory board that represents the populations served by the funded program and provides ongoing guidance.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with councils and boards, including the National Council of Urban Indian Health (NCUIH), National Indian Health Board (NIHB), and Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers (AACHC).
2. Staff Leadership and Development: Leads, coaches, mentors, and supervises staff to support engagement and achievement of organizational and cooperative agreement goals.
Measures of Success:
- Ensure staff understand and demonstrate NATIVE HEALTH’s mission and values.
- Provides appropriate orientation, training, and ongoing development.
- Ensures clients and patients have optimal access to enrollment assistance and education.
- Ensures staff maintain current knowledge of Medicaid (Arizona AHCCCS), the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Health Insurance Marketplace through required training, seminars, and workshops.
- Monitors productivity benchmarks, program deliverables, and core competencies.
- Provides timely, constructive performance feedback.
- Ensure staff attain and maintain required Certified Application Counselor and Community Health Worker (CHW) certifications.
