Mental Health Monitor/Sitter (Corrections) – Nights

Nextaff is seeking dependable and compassionate Mental Health Monitors/Sitters for Correctional Facilities throughout the Phoenix Valley. If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a difference, we'd love to hear from you!

No Corrections Experience? No Problem! If you meet the qualifications below, we'll provide a comprehensive orientation, including shadow shifts, so you feel confident and prepared before working independently.

Pay & Schedule

• $17.00 per hour
• W-2 Employee (Not 1099)
• 12-hour Night Shifts
• PRN position
• Must be able to commit to 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week for 13 weeks
• Weekly pay every Friday (work week runs Monday through Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Monitor multiple surveillance screens and patient activity.
• Report observations and any changes in patient behavior to medical staff.
• Document findings accurately and professionally.
• Maintain patient safety while following facility policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing clerical or support services in a medical setting
• Experience monitoring multiple screens, observing patients, and reporting findings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (In-Person)
• Current Level One Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Copy of current immunization records
