• 1yearmedical office scheduling or 1-2 years administration experienceor clinical experience (CNA, MA, EMT), preferably in an orthopedic setting.

• Schedules surgeries within established timelines and creates all related pre- and post-operative appointments.
• Establishes interdepartmental communication to ensuretimelyandaccuratescheduling
• Maintains precise, organized records within the EMR and practice-management systems
• Clearly communicates all clinical and surgical process instructions to patients.
• Ensures all systems and teams are updated with any edited, cancelled, or rescheduled cases
• Other duties as assigned.

Mustcommunicateprofessionallyand effectively with physicians, patients, and internal departments

• Adhere toestablishedscheduling timelines.
• Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Demonstrate attention to detail with strong follow-through and ability tomaintainaccuraterecords and documentation.

Familiarity with medical terminology,the insurance authorization process, and EMR systems is preferable

High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
