General

Summary:

The general purpose of this position is to coordinate the functions of front office admissions, physician support, medical records, demographics, phone bank and to provide support and supervision to staff.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age;
Requires a High School Diploma and at least one (1) year applicable experience;
Must be proficient in MS Office products.
Must have a valid AZ Drivers License
Must possess an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card

Essential Functions:

1. Carries out supervisory functions of training, scheduling, and evaluating performance of all assigned staff.

2. Assigns, coordinates, and monitoring workloads to ensure appropriate staffing, productivity, and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

3. Handle routine staff, member, and operational escalations, referring complex or higher-level concerns Manager as appropriate.

4. Provides support with eligibility, referrals, enrollment, and administrative processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.

5. Implements and maintains established workflows and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating recommendations to the Manager.

6. Oversees the duties and functions of Member Services support staff and ensures responsibilities are performed accurately, timely, and confidentially across all assigned facilities. Monitors waiting room areas; supports and monitors patient satisfaction; ensures electronic medical records (EMR) are maintained in accordance with HIPAA requirements; and ensures appropriate staffing coverage for assigned functions.

7. Administers disciplinary action when necessary and in a timely and professional manner, consulting with Human Resources and Manager in accordance with organizational policies.

8. Collaborates with Human Resources and the Manager to identify departmental and program staffing needs, participating fully in the recruitment and selection process.

9. Performs the functions of the member services support staff as needed.
