Activity Supervisor-Skilled Nursing

Resolve Diamondback is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activity Supervisor to plan and coordinate engaging programs for our residents. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and passionate about improving residents’ quality of life in a skilled nursing environment.

• Plan and lead recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities.
• Develop a monthly activity calendar based on residents’ interests and abilities.
• Encourage resident participation and provide activities for residents with varying physical and cognitive needs.
• Coordinate group activities, individual visits, celebrations, outings, and special events.
• Supervise and provide direction to activity staff and volunteers.
• Maintain accurate participation records, assessments, care-plan documentation, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, therapy, dietary, and other departments.
• Communicate with residents and families regarding activity programs.
• Ensure activities comply with facility policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist with decorating common areas and creating a welcoming environment for residents.

• Previous activities or recreation experience in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living community, memory care setting, or similar healthcare environment preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Activity Director certification is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to motivate residents and adapt activities to different needs and abilities.
• Comfortable working occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for scheduled events.
• Must successfully complete all required background and employment screenings.
