The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Management Plan Reviewer. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community.

Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by the DDD Office of Licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have a spouse or close family with principal interest in a DDD Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a DDD Qualified Vendor.

• Completes audits of Service Provider Quality management Plan and associated documents. Coordinates& provides technical assistance to Service Providers to ensure Federal, State, contractual and policy requirements are met. Works with Division functional areas, i.e. Network, Contracts and Contract Action Unit to ensure Service Providers are compliant with contractual requirements and are providing services and implementing interventions according to their QM Plan and policies.
• Prepares monitoring/audit summary reports, verifies corrective actions plans submitted by vendor ensuring implementation of and ongoing system improvements. Provides technical assistance as needed. Creates and maintains tracking systems. Establishes and maintains electronic agency files.
• Prepares monthly and annual trend analysis reports related to auditing activities as well as special reports upon request.

• Qualitative and Quantitative analysis and Quality Management / Quality Assurance.
• Auditing principles, standards and techniques.
• Long-Term Care service delivery system Federal and state laws and agency rules, regulations, policies and procedures surrounding DOD practices.
• Utilizing Microsoft Products including Word and Excel to manipulate and present data.
• Assess, review and analyze situations and/or data.
• Problem solving moderate to complex situations and oral and written communication and documentation practices.
• Interpreting policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and statutes.
• Evaluate data and documents and apply to laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
• Read, comprehend, interpret and apply policy, procedures and contracts.
• Write clear, succinct and accurate regulatory and general correspondence.
• Plan and organize moderate to complex work and work independently with minimal supervision
