Our practice in Phoenix is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support physicians with scribing, patient preparation, and pre- and post-operative care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a clinical, patient-focused environment.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Competitive pay: $52,000–56,160 per year (DOE)

• Scribe for physicians during patient visits, accurately documenting encounters in the EHR
• Room and prepare patients for appointments, with a primary focus on pre-operative visits
• Capture and upload pre- and post-operative photos
• Set expectations with patients regarding upcoming surgery
• Review patient medications and coordinate prescription sends to the pharmacy
• Provide wound care
• Communicate with patients via text messaging
• Manage laundry for cloth robes

• Current, active Medical Assistant (MA) certification
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Strong proficiency with EHR and clinical documentation workflows, including accurately obtaining and recording vital signs and patient histories
• Prior experience as a medical scribe or performing scribe duties preferred
