Travel Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, voice, and swallowing disorders in various patient populations.
Key Responsibilities- Create individualized treatment and therapy plans based on patient needs.
- Perform screenings to identify speech or voice impairments.
- Educate patients and families about speech disorders, causes, and management.
- Report progress and communicate with relevant parties, including families and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Must hold ASHA-SLP certification, BLS, and state-specific licensure.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
The role involves working 8-hour days, providing therapy in an acute care setting, with responsibilities including evaluation, treatment planning, and patient education. Certifications and documentation adherence are essential for success.
