Description
- Programs offered at Arizona Comfort Care Social Services LLC. (ACCSS)
- The position is responsible for the daily oversight and supervision of the Day/Employment Programs & HCBS.
- The Director will ensure that all contractual and programmatic requirements are met consistently and will address and resolve all concerns within the program in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensuring goals are met in areas including client and family satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
- Prepares and submits all required reports, statistics and quality assurance functions to verify program services are in accordance with agency and departmental Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance and HIPAA policies and procedures.
- As an Employment, Day Program & HCBS Director you will supervise the day-to-day operations of the Transition to Employment, Group Supported Employment, HCBS, and Day Treatment and Training programs at our locations in Phoenix.
- Seeking team leader that can engage staffs and maintain a schedule that always keeps members busy.
- Transition to Employment involves setting up mock companies and simulate a real work setting. This may involve developing products for members to work on and potentially market and retail. Group Supported Employment involves developing jobs out in the community for work crews of 3 to 4.
- The Program Director will meet with support coordinator and potential clients to review the ISP's and determine if the program is appropriate for all parties. The manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing staff as needed to support the programs.
- Program Director will also be required to fill in for staff in case of absence.
- Ensure all progress reports and required documentations are submitted to the Support Coordinator on time.
- Ensure agency's vehicles are maintained and logs are kept.
- Implements and monitors Behavior Treatment Plans as required by the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
- Manage the HCBS program as needed.
- Work in partnership to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with our members, providers, and representatives from the Division of Developmental Disabilities and OLCR.
Position Requirements
- Must have supervisory and staff management skills.
- Experience working with the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
- Experience supporting and interacting with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- The ability to work in partnership with other professionals, including case Directors, medical staff, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent time management skills Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft excel and word documents.
- Must have the ability to work independently and be self-directed.
- Must be able to provide guidance and support to others, delegate tasks as needed, and ensure that all agency and program deadlines are achieved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Must maintain professionalism at all times while representing the company, and also maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Must possess the ability to work well under pressure and handle conflict in a professional and efficient manner.
- Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
- Ability to balance, bend, stand, walk, kneel, twist, stretch, climb and sit.
- Ability to lift/ carry up and push/pull to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to tolerate environmental conditions, such as hot, cold, wetness, dust, noise, etc.
- Ability to drive and travel independently to various sites.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and the public.
- Ability to use judgment.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION NEEDED:
- Ability to satisfactorily complete all necessary in-service training, and ability to obtain Prevention & Support, CPR & basic first aid, Article 9, DCW (obtained within 90 days of hire), Fingerprint card, and medication administration certification (if Applicable).
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a demonstrated safe driving record.
