Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, while leading and motivating the housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping team members to maintain high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to housekeeping activities, staff attendance, and maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely room readiness.
- Enforce safety and sanitation policies in compliance with health regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
