The Lead Engineer is responsible for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects. Ensure proper completion and timeliness of work orders to enable prompt input of data. Monitor productivity, schedule, and distribute the workload among the Engineering staff.

• Assist in assigning and verifying completion of routine maintenance to ensure the hotel’s physical structure and operation is maintained to the highest standards ensuring safety and efficiency. This includes all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.
• Visually inspect quality of work and assist in the direction of staff in tasks according to performance and productivity standards.
• Help manage the day‑to‑day operations of the maintenance shop. This includes maintaining parts and supply inventories, ordering materials, monitoring MMS by assigning work tickets and following up to ensure completeness.
• Assign, monitor, and follow up on all Preventative Maintenance programs.
• Assist the Director of Property Operations in administrating programs involving electrical, mechanical, and general construction of repairs and maintenance of existing facilities equipment.
