Position Overview
As the Spa Manager at the Arizona Biltmore’s Tierra Luna Spa, you will lead daily operations, staff supervision, scheduling, inventory, and guest services, ensuring an exceptional experience in compliance with Forbes and luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities- Create weekly schedules for spa attendants and support staff.
- Prepare and reconcile closing reports in B4T.
- Generate monthly spa KPI reports.
- Communicate all active spa promotions and programs to staff.
- Maintain the spa website with up-to-date information.
- Oversee Sol Garden Operations, including F&B sales and attendant revenue services.
- Support new hires through interviews, training, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Maintain time and attendance records for all team members.
- Assist in payroll generation in the absence of the Assistant Spa Director.
- Represent the spa on the safety and security committee, ensuring compliance with monthly safety topics.
- Provide sales, product, and service training for all spa receptionists.
- Report facility discrepancies immediately through Hot SOS.
- Maintain and update all retail and operational vendor information in the designated binder.
- Manage current wholesale price lists.
- Oversee health and beauty supply receiving and reconciliation.
- Enter supply purchase orders into Craftable and adhere to budgeted expenses.
- Assist in month‑end retail inventory and tag new retail items promptly.
- Ensure Forbes and luxury spa standards are met through direct training and evaluation of protocols and offerings.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of current Forbes 4‑ and 5‑star standards.
- Work closely with security and champion the safety committee on behalf of the spa.
- Ensure completion of monthly safety training topics by spa team members.
- Handle hotel effectiveness scheduling for spa attendants.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: At least three (3) years of leadership experience in hospitality or service industry, with spa management experience preferred. Experience in a luxury hotel or resort preferred.
Licenses or Certificates: CPR / First Aid Certification preferred.
