The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the "Jewel of the Desert" since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' water slide.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

Arizona Biltmore offers a diverse culinary experience with 2 full service restaurants, 2 bars, 2 pools, in-room dining, a café, a large banquet department, and a pastry shop. As a Banquet Cook III, you will be responsible for maintaining, setting up, producing food and controlling quality of all food items prepared in the different kitchen stations, i.e., meats, fish, vegetables, bread products, sauces, stocks, seasoning, etc.

Specifically, this includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

  • Prepare all food items according to standard recipes or, as otherwise specified by supervisor, to ensure consistency of product to the guest; requires transportation of heavy food products.
  • Check and control the proper storage of product, especially on all fresh produce, checking on portion control, to maintain quality product.
  • Keep all refrigeration, storage, and working areas clean, working condition in order to comply with Health Department regulations.
  • Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition to comply with Health Department regulations.
  • Visually inspect, select and use only the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats and other food products of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items. Read and employ math skills for following recipes. Prepare requisition for supplies and food items for production in workstation.

This is a Full-time position and you must have availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
