Quality Assurance Manager
Manage the daily cleaning and maintenance of resort public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, entrances, offices, and employee areas. Lead, train, schedule, and develop public area supervisors and attendants. Conduct routine inspections to ensure all areas meet company and resort cleanliness standards. Assign daily workloads and adjust staffing based on occupancy, events, and operational needs. Monitor attendance, productivity, labor hours, and department performance.
Coordinate special cleaning projects, including carpet care, floor care, pressure washing, and deep cleaning. Maintain appropriate inventory levels for cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment. Ensure equipment is properly used, maintained, and stored. Partner with resort leadership and other departments to address guest concerns and operational needs. Respond quickly and professionally to cleanliness concerns and service requests. Ensure all safety procedures, chemical-handling requirements, and company policies are followed.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management. Complete required reports, inspections, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Previous housekeeping or public areas management experience in a large hotel or resort environment is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing large teams and multiple shifts.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment, floor care, carpet care, and cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to manage labor, schedules, inventory, and department priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, resort leadership, and guests.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings as required.
- Must be able to work outside in the elements for the majority of time.
- Must be able to stand and walk outside in the elements for the majority of time.
