Event and Hospitality Manager - Sports Venues

Our client requires a seasoned Event and Hospitality Manager to oversee the planning and execution of all hospitality services and events at their premier sports venues in East London . This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional experiences for VIP guests, corporate clients, and event attendees. You will manage all aspects of event delivery, from menu planning and service execution to budget management and client relations, contributing to the success of major sporting and entertainment events in the Eastern Cape.

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all hospitality services for sporting events, including VIP lounges, suites, and catering.
• Develop and execute event strategies, ensuring seamless delivery from conception to post-event analysis.
• Manage relationships with clients, sponsors, and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards.
• Oversee event budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability for all hospitality operations.
• Lead and motivate a team of hospitality staff and event coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations for events and hospitality services.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in event management and hospitality, ideally within a sports venue or large-scale event environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing high-profile events and client expectations.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L statements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting like East London .
