Payroll Specialist

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This contract-to-permanent position requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual to manage payroll operations for a multi-state workforce.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and process bi-weekly payroll operations for a multi-state workforce of over 400 employees.

- Conduct detailed audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

- Utilize payroll software such as ADP Workforce Now and UKG Pro to enhance operational efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to federal and state payroll regulations across all locations.

- Address and resolve payroll-related discrepancies with attention to detail.

- Conduct payroll audits for each payroll cycle to ensure accuracy and compliance, collaborating closely with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant payroll experience.

- Expertise in full-cycle payroll processing for large organizations.

- Proficiency in multi-state payroll operations and compliance.

- Familiarity with SAP and UKG Pro systems highly preferred.

- Exceptional attention to detail and auditing skills.

- Ability to manage sensitive data with professionalism and discretion.
