Vaco Phoenix is partnering with a leading client in Tempe, AZ to add an HR Manager to their team. This role will oversee daily HR operations, end-to-end payroll, benefits administration and open enrollment, onboarding, and employee relations. The position is fully onsite and offers compensation of up to $100,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Oversee payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Review timekeeping, overtime, PTO, and wage adjustments in accordance with labor regulations
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll questions and issue resolution
- Manage end-to-end onboarding, including offers, background checks, I-9/E-Verify, and system access
- Lead new hire orientation and ensure completion of required training and documentation
- Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate payroll deductions
- Partner with benefits brokers and carriers on enrollments, renewals, and employee support
- Lead annual open enrollment and communicate benefit changes effectively
- Manage offboarding processes, including final pay, benefits termination, and exit documentation
- Provide HR guidance to employees and managers on employee relations and performance matters
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Supervisor or Manager
- Experience supporting an organization of approximately 100 employees
- Strong working knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, insurance, and employment law
Salary up to $100,000 per year. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and participation in medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement plan.
