We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Manager to own multi-state payroll and benefits administration for a growing workforce. This role manages regular and off-cycle payroll (including equity-related events), oversees benefits programs and leave administration, and partners closely with Finance and HR to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls.
What You’ll Do- Run accurate, timely multi-state payroll (regular and off-cycle)
- Administer benefits programs, open enrollment, retirement plans, and leave programs
- Partner with Finance on reconciliations, reporting, and audits
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Improve payroll processes, controls, and system integrations
- Serve as the main point of contact for payroll and benefits questions
- 7+ years of payroll and benefits experience
- Strong multi-state payroll and compliance knowledge
- Experience with internal controls and audits
- Proficiency with payroll/HR systems and Excel
- Detail-oriented, service-minded, and great communicator
