We pride ourselves on individualized patient treatment programs driven by an outcomes program developed by our own physicians. Our physicians are board-certified specialists, and our non-physician providers typically have years of experience in interventional pain management.

ASAP is committed to whole-patient care, having launched an integrated behavioral health program at our Phoenix locations. This collaboration makes us the first interventional pain management group in the state to implement a behavioral health integration program at our practices.

JOB TITLE:

Talent and HR Specialist

FLSA STATUS (Exempt/Non-Exempt):

Reports to VP Administrative Operations

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: NONE

General Statement of Duties
  • The Talent & HR Specialist plays a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, HR compliance, and culture-building initiatives. This role is ideal for a well rounded HR professional who enjoys balancing day to day HR operations with talent acquisition and employee experience priorities.
Essential Functions Talent Acquisition (40%)
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and create effective job descriptions.
  • Maintain ATS workflows and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies through job boards, networking, and social media.
  • Support employer branding and participate in recruiting events or job fairs.
HR Operations & Employee Support (40%)
  • Employee Relations & HR Support
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the employee handbook is consistent with current policies and regulatory requirements.
Performance & Culture
  • Coordinate annual performance review processes and employee feedback cycles.
  • Support engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and organizational culture-building activities.
  • Support programs that identify and develop emerging leaders within the organization.
HR Administration
  • Assist in the administration and monitoring of company benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), vacation, and sick time.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data, personnel files, and documentation.
  • Manage unemployment and workers’ compensation claims for employees.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Payroll to support accurate reporting, payroll changes, and compliance.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes including documentation and policy orientation.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance trainings for staff.
  • Track expiration dates, send reminders, and coordinate timely renewals to avoid service interruptions.
  • Maintain accurate credentialing files for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal compliance needs.
Education
  • High School Diploma /GED Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
