We are working with a national company based in Phoenix looking to bring on an HR Generalist to serve as a key contributor to daily people operations. This role supports hiring initiatives, employee support, payroll coordination, compliance efforts, and overall HR administration. The position requires someone who can balance tactical execution with strong interpersonal skills in a busy, growth-focused environment.
This is an on-site opportunity based in Phoenix, AZ.
The HR Generalist will act as a trusted resource for managers and employees while ensuring HR processes run efficiently and accurately. Success in this role requires strong follow-through, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Execute recruitment strategies from requisition through offer acceptance
- Consult with leadership on staffing needs and hiring timelines
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure completion of required documentation
- Monitor and report on hiring activity and workforce metrics
- Support payroll-related activities and employee data management
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Assist with employee relations matters and workplace inquiries
- Contribute to policy review, documentation updates, and process improvements
- Generate reports and support audits as needed
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
- 4+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting and talent acquisition
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Familiarity with payroll support processes
- Understanding of employment regulations and HR compliance standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently while partnering cross-functionally
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
