The Senior Recruitment Analyst is a dynamic talent acquisition leader within the Human Resources Development Group (HRDG), serving as a team lead and trusted partner to agency leadership. This role drives full-cycle recruitment—from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and selection—while ensuring compliance with ADCRR policies and state and federal regulations. Recruiting across skilled trades, substance abuse counseling, education, IT/technical, Arizona Correctional Industries (ACI), and executive-level roles, the Senior Recruitment Analyst builds strong pipelines through colleges, military partnerships, community outreach, Linked In sourcing, and career fairs.

This position exercises independent judgment, leads key recruitment projects, delivers exceptional customer service, and travels statewide to attract top talent that strengthens the agency’s workforce.

Job Duties:
  • Serves as Team Lead for the Human Resources Development Group (HRDG) Recruitment Unit, overseeing daily recruitment operations, leading short- and long-term projects, and providing professional guidance to agency leadership and staff.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, while implementing effective strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment software.
  • Drafts and posts job announcements, reviews resumes, tracks applicants, conducts phone and in-person interviews, and coordinates interview scheduling with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Partners with hiring authorities to assess position requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies to fill vacancies efficiently.
  • Develops innovative talent acquisition strategies and delivers exceptional customer service to hiring managers and applicants.
  • Responds to applicant inquiries regarding recruitment policies, procedures, job availability, and hiring status.
  • Travels statewide, including occasional weekends, to collaborate with field leadership on recruitment efforts.
  • Selects, schedules, and represents the agency at job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Drives on State business.
  • Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
  • Knowledge of:
    • Current recruitment trends, employer branding, social media strategies, and Boolean search techniques.
    • Professional-level human resources practices and procedures.
    • Personnel administration, including recruitment, classification and compensation, selection, and hiring.
