About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Executive Recruiter with a proven track record of identifying, engaging, and securing high-impact, senior level talent across multiple functions. This individual will play a strategic role in shaping our leadership pipeline, recruiting top‑tier talent who align with our values and drive transformational results.
What You’ll Do Strategic Talent Sourcing- Develop and implement tailored strategies to attract and source executive talent aligned with Cars Commerce’s mission and values.
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to build a robust pipeline of high‑potential candidates for C‑level, VP, and Director roles.
- Drive proactive outreach to create diverse slates of high‑caliber passive candidates, engaging with industry leaders to present Car Commerce’s value proposition.
- Champion diversity and inclusion throughout the executive hiring process, fostering a diverse talent pipeline and promoting inclusive hiring practices.
- Lead the assessment and selection process for executive roles, including structured interviews, competency assessments, and leadership evaluations.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align on role‑specific competencies and success indicators to ensure each candidate meets Cars Commerce’s standards for leadership and cultural alignment.
- Lead in‑depth interviews using structured and behavioral‐based assessment methods to ensure a robust and objective selection process.
- Serve as an expert advisor, providing clear insights to hiring leaders on candidates’ strengths, areas for development, and overall fit.
- Act as a trusted partner to Cars Commerce’s executive team, establishing and maintaining best practices for internal executive recruiting capability.
- Educate the executive team on best recruitment strategies, talent insights, and industry trends related to talent attraction.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders and HR teams to support succession planning and meet immediate and long‑term organizational needs.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and cross‑functional teams, balancing service delivery with strategic guidance and an external talent perspective.
- Deliver business reviews and executive communication including reports, job descriptions, candidate profiles, interview preparations, and stakeholder updates.
- Own the candidate experience by curating a best‑in‑class experience, ensuring all candidates receive timely, respectful, and high‑touch communications throughout the recruiting process.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with executive talent and high‑potential leaders, serving as a brand ambassador for Cars Commerce in the marketplace.
- Tailor communication to effectively convey the Cars Commerce story, vision, and culture to inspire interest from top‑level candidates.
- Lead the executive recruiting lifecycle from intake to offer, ensuring efficiency, timeliness, and high‑quality results in every search.
- Track key recruiting metrics including time‑to‑hire, diversity, candidate satisfaction, and quality of hire using data to improve search processes and optimize the candidate experience.
- Drive process improvement within the executive recruiting function, advocating for tools and best practices that support Cars Commerce’s growth objectives.
- 8+ years of in‑house and retained executive recruiting experience, with a focus on C‑level and senior leadership roles, ideally within high‑growth industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to influence C‑suite stakeholders and hiring leaders, guiding them through strategic hiring decisions with a successful track record of partnering with senior executives.
- Proficient with ATS, CRM systems, Linked In Recruiter, and advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean and talent mapping; experience with Workday and G‑Suite is a plus.
- Deep expertise in competency‑based interviews, executive assessments, leadership evaluation, and executive profiling.
