City of Phoenix Police Department is recruiting Police Recruits for a structured 26‑week paid training program at the Phoenix Regional Police Academy. Recruits progress to Police Officers upon academy completion and certification.
A $7,500 hiring bonus is paid in three installments, with an additional $2,500 referral bonus possible for referred applicants. During the academy, recruits earn $34.39 per hour (~$71,531 yearly).
