POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for assisting with human resources functions, including hiring, orientation, employee records, payroll, and organizing and performing functions related to the Protecting the Mission program.
Qualifications- Minimum High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Service-oriented team player who can take initiative, work independently, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with other employees, customers, and guests in keeping with TSA standards.
- Must be able to work with all ethnic and socio-economic populations.
- Professional appearance and customer service skills required.
- Must be able to demonstrate good judgment, resourcefulness, flexibility, and problem solving.
- Sensitivity and awareness of diverse cultural perspectives and the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all employee information.
- Carry out various human resource procedures for all staff at the Kroc Center.
- Perform general clerical duties for the Human Resources department.
- Monitor timekeeping system and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll information.
- Support organizational training and development efforts, including ensuring all employees complete required eLearning training and are registered in Praesidium Academy and complete required PTM training.
- Maintain employee and department files and records.
- Monitor and update Employee Databases on a weekly basis.
- Maintain Personnel Status Change Tracker.
- Assist in processing all new employees, including scheduling appointments, assisting with paperwork, scheduling and assisting with new hire orientations, Protecting the Mission training, and center tours.
- Generate and distribute monthly reports for birthday and anniversary announcements.
- Coordinate Associate of the Quarter nominations, voting, and announcements.
- Order and process employee s.
- Generate and distribute monthly reports for performance evaluation tracking, overtime, and other HR metrics.
- Ensure all incidents of significance are reported to the insurance company and filed appropriately.
- Meet with members and law enforcement to coordinate reports and statements as needed.
- Other duties assigned as related to the responsibilities of the HR Department.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to operate a telephone and computer, and access and produce information from a computer and understand written information.
