Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring an HR Assistant to support human resources administration for a growing engineering, construction, and manufacturing services company supporting semiconductor‑related projects in North Phoenix, AZ. This role will work closely with the HR Manager to support day‑to‑day HR operations, employee onboarding, payroll‑related administration, employee records, and special HR projects. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and interested in growing within human resources.

Position: HR Assistant

Location: North Phoenix, AZ | On‑Site

Type: Full‑Time | Direct Hire

Pay Rate: 50K-60K DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8A-5P

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Support the HR Manager with daily HR administrative tasks and employee support.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, employee paperwork, personnel files, and required documentation.
  • Help maintain organized employee records, HR documents, forms, and internal tracking files.
  • Support payroll‑related administration, including timekeeping review, payroll documentation, and employee information updates.
  • Assist with employee attendance records, leave tracking, and basic HR reporting.
  • Help coordinate employee communication, notices, and follow‑up items.
  • Support government subsidy projects, HR compliance documentation, and related administrative submissions as assigned.
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, onboarding preparation, and new hire follow‑up as needed.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure employee information and HR records are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee, payroll, and company information.
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of HR assistant, administrative assistant, office support, payroll support, or related experience preferred.
  • Interest in human resources, employee relations, payroll administration, and HR compliance.
  • Strong organization, follow‑up, documentation, and multitasking skills.
  • Detail‑oriented and able to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced office environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mandarin‑English bilingual ability is a strong plus.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or small‑to‑mid‑sized company environments is a plus.
