Position Objective: The Recruiter/HR Assistant will provide support for the talent lifecycle for Sunbelt corporate as well as multiple plants on an as needed basis. The position combines hands-on recruiting responsibilities with day-to-day HR support. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

• Manage the full cycle recruitment process including job postings, resume screenings, initial interviews, and candidate communication. Manage agency relationships and oversee any outsourced recruitment.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies and pipeline building.
• Maintain applicant tracking system.

• Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of required documents
• Maintain employee files and HRIS with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
• Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of basic HR practices and recruiting fundamentals
• High school diploma

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• Bilingual abilities

• Able to successfully pass a criminal background check (following a conditional offer of employment)
• Speak fluent English in order to communicate with other employees and clients verbally and in writing
• Available to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime requirements during busy seasons
