• This team has implemented a new supply chain demand planning tool, called O9.
• The team’s job is to make sure data gets from their SAP environment to AWS Redshift where O9 can pick it up.
• Engineer experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS), which is the tool that will send data from EHANA (enterprise HANA/on premise) to AWS.

• The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with a proven track record of creating and maintaining robust data pipelines.
• You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless data flow from our SAP environment to our cloud-based data warehouse, supporting a newly implemented supply chain demand planning tool.

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract data from our SAP S4 on HANA (EHANA) environment.
• Utilize SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) as the primary tool for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of data to AWS Redshift to support our supply chain planning tool.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor data pipelines to ensure high performance, data quality, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any data flow issues or errors in a timely manner.

• Proven, hands-on experience as a data engineer.
• Expertise with SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) is a must.
• Solid understanding of SAP environments, specifically SAP S4 on HANA (EHANA).
• Experience with AWS services, particularly Redshift.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
