Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a Director of Data & Software Platforms to lead the strategy, development, and evolution of modern enterprise technology platforms that enable data‑driven decision-making and scalable digital capabilities. This role will oversee a growing, high‑performing team of software and data engineers and play a key role in shaping the organization’s cloud, data, and application architecture.

• Define and execute the enterprise roadmap for software and data platforms in alignment with business objectives
• Architect scalable, secure, cloud‑native systems using modern technologies such as .NET, Python, Azure, and API‑first or microservices‑based designs
• Lead digital modernization efforts including cloud adoption, legacy platform transformation, and process automation
• Champion engineering best practices across Agile delivery, Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and platform reliability
• Design and oversee modern data supporting high‑volume pipelines, real‑time processing, analytics, and reporting
• Enable advanced analytics, AI/ML capabilities, and intelligent automation to support predictive insights and smarter decision‑making
• Partner with business, product, and architecture leaders to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience
• Lead, mentor, and grow cross‑functional teams of software engineers and data engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Oversee program delivery, vendor relationships, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, clearly articulating technical strategy, trade‑offs, and business value

Experience may include (not limited to):

• Modern programming languages and frameworks (.NET, Python)
• Data platforms and databases (SQL‑based and open‑source technologies)
• Analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Data science and analytics languages (Python, R)

• A strategic technology leader with experience delivering large‑scale, data‑driven platforms
• Proven ability to lead and scale engineering teams in fast‑moving environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to align executives, engineers, and stakeholders
