IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Database Help Desk Analyst to join our customer in Phoenix AZ. This is an ONSITE position. Job DescriptionUtilize SQL to mine and analyze data. Occasional testing of new applications to test functionality with companion applications.
- Responds to user requests for system help
- Identifies causes of user problems and potential solutions
- Enters problems information into an automated issue tracking system
- Corrects pended encounters either directly, or through working directly with vendors
- Runs scheduled production jobs
- Test new production releases
- Maintains Production Job Schedule
- Prepares statistical reports on help desk utilization
- Preparing, analyzing and reconciling reports
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and Access
- Researching and problem solving report discrepancies; performs other duties as assigned
- Database Systems/Database Tools
- SQL Server 2008 R2 Advanced 3 years
- Basic T-SQL skills Advanced 3 years
- QA/Testing - Approaches, Applications
- Excellent Communication skills both verbal & written
- College degree
- MS Office:
Excel, Access, Word and Outlook Advanced 5 years - Proven Analytical skills, ability to research and problem solve Advanced 5 years
- Math & Problem solving skills; mathematical accuracy is a must Advanced 5 years
