Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Overview

Our direct client is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated testing solutions for large-scale data platforms and pipelines. This role focuses on validating data integrity, performance, and reliability across cloud-based, event-driven systems.

• Rest-Assured
• Local to the Greater Phoenix Area

• Automate testing for big-data pipelines and platforms
• Develop data automation, integration, and performance test scripts
• Generate large volumes of synthetic test data
• Automate REST API testing and validate event-streaming workflows
• Test distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to ensure quality at scale

• Experience automating big-data platforms and pipelines
• Strong data automation, integration testing, and performance testing skills
• REST-Assured (required)
• Experience with Spock
  , Web Driver
  , Appium
  , and/or Jira
• Knowledge of Kafka, Spark, S3, SQL scripting, and event streaming
• Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Groovy and Java (Python a plus)
• Unix scripting experience

• Experience with Aerospike, Solr, Hadoop, or Cloudera
